I am still recovering from this.......

MORNING!!!!!

A cupcake cake AND a pancake cake - a girl can never blow out too many candles or make too many wishes :)

but I did take pictures of this.....

work, work, work :)

They were supposed to put their heads together and link arms and go in a circle - I didn't quite get it in the picture - but Brady would stand on his tip toes trying to get his head up as high as E's ;) He was soooo excited up there :) When we walked into the auditorium and the kids saw Brady across the stage they all yelled to him - yayyyy Brady is here - come sit by me, come on Brady. They are so accepting of him - it almost brought tears to my eyes - and he was sooooo happy to be with them. I think this is why I fight for inclusion - I honestly feel it benefits all the other kids just as much as it benefits Brady. You can't get far down the hall in school without someone stopping Brady to say hi or give him a high five - both older and younger grades. I worried about taking him away from his neighborhood school - would he have friends? Would he get invited to birthday parties? Would people know him? The answer has been a resounding YES - he has friends, he goes to parties, and people know him, accept him, and care for him. He is happy, and for now, he is a totally integrated part of his school community - something we will work to keep happening for the rest of his life :)

ooops - was I saying that Brady was so much smaller than his classmates? Maybe it is a family trait ;) Hi Little K!!! :)
