Happy Happy Birthday Little K!!!!!

I cannot belive my baby girl is eleven. Eleven - that's one more than ten - for those of you who don[t know ;) She's been on this earth more than a decade - and it's gone by in a flash. Before I know it, another decade will have passed and she'll be as old as Big K (which I don't even want to think about - cause she will be leaving her teenage years behind this year - and that is just too weird for me ;)

We celebrated on Monday, while Big K was here (thanks for coming home and spending time with your little sissy!) We celebrated on Tuesday - the "real" birthday - and we'll probably fit a birthday lunch in here another day this week, to just keep the celebrations going ;)

She is loving being 11 - loves her new camera that takes not only pictures, but video too - thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!! She loved her new American doll clothes and books (how is it that one small doll outfit costs as much as a kid outfit??? My boys went on and on about what a rip off that was ;) She dressed Rebecca up and posed her and took a bunch of photos of her in her new outfits ;) ha ha ha She loved HER new clothes (which cost less on clearance than Rebeccas.....) All in all - birthday success - yayyyyy! Now to get on with planning her party - I guess we really are dragging out the celebration :)

Sunday Grains of Gratitude......

This week I'm grateful for......

motrin - it sure helps with teeth coming in :(

my hubby - he is great!

that we have a three day weekend - yayyyyyy!!!!

that we got Christmas taken down. All 20 - 30 gallon bins of it, and that my hubby put it all back up in storage so we can park the cars in the garage and save time on frosty mornings.

that my kids have been pretty dang good about doing their jobs, so the house is pretty tidy - a tidy house and kids that do their jobs = a happy momma ;)

that 24 starts again tonight - one of my vices ;) And that we could all watch AI together - it's fun to watch with the younger kids and have something they all enjoy to watch together :)

that Big K is spending some time here this weekend - we always love to see her!

that I walked a couple of days this week and hopefully will have time to do more next week - not so many appointments :)

for all my blessings - I have so many........

Darn it all - I used to be such a good little blogger.....

and now I'm barely mediocre - pretty much like everything else in my life right now.....

Well - I'll put it on the to do list of things to change this year - and gosh darn it - it sure is a looooooong list.......

It was definitely a partay at our house - with Big K and about 50 of her college and old HS friends at their "mocktail" party :) Fun was had by all - well - except C - who was party hopping, and found that wasn't nearly as satisfying as she thought it would be - we thought staying in one place would have been fantastic too :)

Hope 2010 will bring you much joy, peace, happiness, hope, prosperity, health and love!!!
