apparently not.......
Yesterday at church, Brady was being. a. PILL...... So - I sat him on my lap for a whispered heart to heart.... After talking to him for a couple of minutes, I asked him this..... silly me - I should have known the answer already.....
Me.... "Okay Brady are you going to be good or naughty........."
Brady - with a smile on his face......... "NAUGHTY!!!!"
What was I thinkin'...................

First thing we learned as SLPs in our clinical processes class:
NEVER EVER give a choice if you aren't prepared to honor both choices. ;) The child will always choose the answer you don't want him to choose.
