and another sleepless night......
Well - I COULD be sleeping - everyone else is - but - I'm not...... Cause Brady woke me up with a brief forray into and out of our room and back into his bed (wow - that's a first.....) and the hubs was up playing some stupid computer game - which wasn't bugging me - much - I think I did roll over at 1 and tell him he should go to sleep. Then this all started at almost 2...... So yup - he turns off his computer and goes to sleep, Brady falls back asleep - and - well - me? Yup - awake....... and awake....... and awake :( I so hate insomnia - it really sucks.......
So - my house is quiet and sleeping, except for the occasional cough from Brady - yes - he is sick with some fun germ he caught from all the hacking kids at school. He loves them so dearly - I figure they are just sharing their love with him....... I got the majority of my laundry washed, folded and put away today - yay!!! The house is fairly tidy - which shouldn't have been a feat after cleaning it for Bunco on Thursday night - but - a feat it was, just the same..... The bunny's cage is clean for the first time in - who knows how long - and she survived being handed over to the boys care - well - minus one toe nail that broke in the adventure that is cage cleaning. She might have some lasting trauma from all the "love" they gave her though - poor thing - bunnies were never meant to be loved by rambunctious boys...... Bedrooms got clean - well - after a serious heart to heart - ummmm - are you sure your room is clean? YES! Closets, dressers, and under the bed too? Downcast eyes and guilty looks...... Bathrooms cleaned - kids showered - a little family movie night (with the boys staying up to watch Dr. Who with Dad - seriously - that is a BIZARRE show........ Mom, Little K, and Brady crashed out in the bed....... we know a decent hour for going to sleep........)
According to Facebook - C had some serious fun with her friends this evening. And I think Big K was going to some semi-formal dance with a nice young man we've never met, but C says is so hilarious, at college. I think a lovely weekend has been had by all and we will all be seriously depressed that it will be over in 28 short hours....
Time flies when you're having fun!!!!!!

Ugh, sorry to hear about the insomnia! Hope you've had some good night sleeps since then! WTG on the housecleaning. That's my biggest challenge! :)
