Sunday Grains of Gratitude.......

Grains of Gratitude
Another week down - and a super, crazy, busy, I can't believe I survived it one, at that!!! The last week of school is always soooo crazy - but this year it seems like things have been even more crazy than usual! But, we all made it through, with smiles even, and lots and lots of memories!
This week I'm grateful.....

That Big K graduated!!!! It was kind of bittersweet though.... I am so excited that she is growing up and spreading her wings, but just a little sad that she will be leaving the nest, at the same time. My baby graduated from HS - how can time have gone so fast that she could be this old and so accomplished???? She graduated with high honors and did the most amazing job on her Salutatorian speech :) She is one amazing girl and I'm so grateful I have the chance to be her mom :)

that Grandma and Grandpa came all the way from Canada to celebrate with us. Thanks so much for making the trek, mom and dad, especially with all the pain you are both having. It means the world to us that you would come and be a part of this special day with us!

that I could go to Big K's scholarship celebration. Well - the celebration wasn't that big of a deal, but I am grateful for the hard work Big K put in to earn several different scholarships. She is a great student!
Photobucket

that I could go to all of C's tournament games :) Since they went to the finals - it meant a lot of driving and a lot of soccer - but it was GREAT - especially when they beat the number one team in their division for the championship!!!!! WTG C!!!!!

that H graduated from 6th grade and we could go to his graduation :) When they put all these things during the day, it makes it kind of tricky to be able to get dads there. I'm so grateful that the hubs has a fairly flexible job that he can attend these events too!

Who lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea????

Brady Squarepants :) Yahoo - we finally got to celebrating Brady's 7th birthday with a friends party, and it was so fun! Well - Brady and the kids had lots of fun - it was lots of work for me :) But - it was all worth it to see how excited my cute boy was with his own Bikini Bottom and Spongebob extravaganza :) We made our own Spongebob placemats, Spongebob sponges, went jellyfishing, had a crabby patty race, Brady broke -er - pulled open the pinata on the first try, and had the requisite cake (chocolate, of course) and ice cream (none for Brady, thanks though ;) A good time was had by all :)

Brady pulled the right string first thing - it was kind of a bummer - but - the kids all got candy :) Brady sat on the couch and watched them - he is soooo NOT into candy :)

And, last, but not least - presents :) Brady so loves presents :) When people came to the door with presents, he told them ALL Happy Birthday LOL
